CY/CY refers to the stockyard to stockyard mode. The carrier receives the full container load at the container yard of the port of loading and is responsible for delivering the full container load to the consignee at the container yard of the port of discharge.
2. CY/FO
CY/FO (Free Out) The carrier receives the full container load at the container yard of the port of loading and is responsible for transporting it to the port of discharge but is not responsible for discharging it;
3. CY/LO
CY/LO (Line Out) The carrier receives the full container load at the container yard of the port of loading and is responsible for transporting it to the port of discharge for unloading;
4. CY/TACKLE
CY/TACKLE The carrier receives the FCL at the container yard at the port of loading and is responsible for transporting the FCL to the port of unloading for unloading on the pick-up truck;
5. CY/HOOK
CY/HOOK carrier receives the full container load at the container yard at the port of loading and is responsible for discharging the load at the port of discharge, where the service terminates when the cargo is lowered by the boom.
With regard to sea freight, there are different cargo ships and modes of transport depending on the cargo.
Container ship
Container ship - currently the most commonly used mode of transport, there are 20 ', 40 ', 45 'three specifications of containers. The capacity of container ships varies widely, with the smallest being 85TEU (TEU) and Evergreen's "Ever Ace" container ship with a maximum capacity of 23,992 TEU (TEU).
Bulk carrier
Bulk carriers - used to transport commodities such as wheat, sulphur, iron ore and coal.
General cargo ship
General cargo ship - used to transport a variety of other goods, such as packaged goods (cement, sugar, etc.), palletizing goods (oil and gas, chemicals, etc.), wood, etc.
Roll-on-roll-off ship
RoRo ships - RORO ships, as the name suggests, are used to transport wheeled goods such as cars, buses, trucks, construction trucks, etc. It can be further classified as PCC (pure vehicle carrier) or PCTC (car and truck), and its use is also known by the name.
Multi-purpose vessel
Multi-purpose vessel - a combination used to transport the above cargo. Very versatile, popular vessels, especially for certain lines that do not have shore-based processing facilities that require autonomous vessels.
Tank carrier
Tanker - Used to transport various liquid cargoes such as oil, liquid chemicals, etc.
Crude oil carrier
Crude oil carriers - Used to transport crude oil, can be further classified as VLCC (Very Large crude oil carriers) and ULCC (very large crude oil carriers), the former in the tonnage of 200,000 tons to 300,000 tons, the latter in the 300,000 tons to 500,000 tons.
LNG carrier
LNG carriers - used to transport liquefied natural gas.
Refrigerated ship
Refrigerated ships - used to transport frozen cargo or goods that require temperature control, such as fruit, meat, fish, etc.
